When we actually double click into healthcare, we can understand the path so many patients take which ultimately, may lead them to a short or long term rehabilitation facility for one reason or another. With COVID-19, the downstream effect of an overwhelmed hospital system, lingering chronic symptoms and the requirement of skilled nursing and around the clock care, make a rehabilitation center, an inevitable part of the healthcare journey.
Rehabilitation centers, nursing facilities, extended care facilities, and so forth, arguably host the most fragile of patients. Those that have been impacted by the windy road of life. Some facilities, opened their doors, in the most desperate of times, through a global pandemic, to give resources and care to all those in need.
Ultimately the price of this generosity was unfathomable loss. Record rates of fatality, a deflated and mournful staff and an administrative team with alot of explaining to do.
Eventually. when the dust settles, we #takebacktomorrow. One of our long term partners reached out to us in their time of need, looking to create a broadcast commercial that would capture the true ethos of Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. This facility was hit particularly hard in Syosset, New York, and the administrative team wanted to take the narrative into their own hands.
