- Defining AGI. It's not just doing 80% of human work. True AGI requires continuous learning, temporal awareness, and something we don't fully understand yet. LLMs are tools. Not there.
- Can AI discover general relativity? If you gave an LLM all human knowledge up to Einstein, could it make the leap? That's the question that matters.
- LLMs are tools, not conscious. They're predicting the next token. Full stop. Stop anthropomorphizing. They're bright. They're helpful. They're not thinking.
- Math as God's language. The more you learn about mathematics and physics, the more you feel the fingerprint of something intentional. Not an accident.
- AI's impact on education. Slow learning matters. Fundamentals first. Roger won't let his 12-year-old use AI for coding because you need to learn by hand first.
- Intellectual curiosity is everything. When hiring developers, Roger looks for one thing: insatiable curiosity. That matters more than credentials.
- Elon's short-sighted view. The idea that universal income just means endless consumption at Walmart misses what actually drives humans. Hiking. Climbing. Creation.
